DO's and DON'Ts for the First Date from Just For Men® Haircolor

The DOs of Dating
  1. Be Realistic — Before going on a date, set reasonable expectations for yourself and your date. Remember, everybody is nervous. Expecting perfection will inevitably leave you disappointed.
  2. Decide What You Want in a Date — Don't settle for someone who doesn't possess the key qualities you desire, but be willing to compromise on the small stuff.
  3. Know that First Impressions Count — Stay current on fashion and beauty trends. Grooming counts too. Women want to look their best. Two-thirds of all women color their hair and men do too. Gray hair can leave a bad impression on your date. Just For Men Haircolor is a great way for men to color away their gray with natural-looking results.
  4. Let Your True Personality Shine — You're not like anybody else on this planet and you shouldn't pretend to be. Let your true personality shine through on the first date.
  5. Accept Responsibility for Your Mistakes — Your date will respect you more if you are honest instead of making excuses as to why you're not wrong.

The DON'Ts of Dating
  1. Don't Whine — Whining doesn't accomplish anything except aggravating and annoying your date. Instead of whining, figure out what's making you unhappy, and then try to talk about it with your date.
  2. Don't Blame — When things don't go well or as you expected, instead of assigning blame, try to figure out what went wrong so that it doesn't happen again.
  3. Don't Compare — Comparing your date or yourself to others diminishes the intimacy you may be sharing and can cause unpleasant and judgmental feelings.
  4. Don't Pout With Your Date — Pouting is a way to walk away emotionally while staying in the same room. By not saying what's wrong and not working toward a solution, you are just allowing feelings and emotions to fester.
  5. Don't Complain — Complaining about your date can be very dangerous, especially if you complain to those who know him or her. This information inevitably always gets back to that person. In the course of it all, you'll lose hopes of a second date, and most likely, end the friendships of those you told.
